Accessibility Statement

Moverly’s commitment to an accessible platform, the standard we work to, where we currently fall short, and how to report a barrier.

Last updated: Effective from: Version: 1.0

Contents

Moverly is committed to making our platform accessible and usable for everyone — regardless of ability, device, or circumstance.

Our commitment

Tinkerbase Technology, operating the Moverly platform, believes that booking a home move should be straightforward for every customer. We work to ensure that moverly.ae is accessible to people with disabilities and those using assistive technologies.

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA as a baseline standard. This is an ongoing commitment — accessibility is not a one-time fix but a continuous part of how we build and maintain the platform.

What we have done

We have taken the following steps to make Moverly accessible:

  • Readable text: Sufficient colour contrast between text and backgrounds across the platform to aid readability for users with low vision or colour blindness.
  • Resizable text: The platform layout adapts when browser text size is increased without loss of content or functionality.
  • Keyboard navigation: Core booking steps can be navigated using a keyboard without requiring a mouse.
  • Screen reader support: We use semantic HTML and descriptive labels on form fields and interactive elements to support screen readers.
  • Mobile accessibility: The platform is fully responsive and designed to work with mobile screen readers and touch-based navigation.
  • Alternative text: Images used on the platform include descriptive alternative text where they convey meaningful information.
  • Clear language: We write our booking flow, policies, and support content in plain English, avoiding unnecessary jargon.

Known limitations

We are honest about areas where accessibility can still be improved:

  • Some third-party components — including our payment processor (Stripe) and certain embedded elements — are outside our direct control. We have chosen third-party providers who take accessibility seriously, but their components may not always meet WCAG 2.1 AA in every configuration.
  • Uploaded customer media — photos, videos, and voice notes — are not captioned or transcribed as part of the current platform version. This is on our improvement roadmap.
  • Some older PDF documents linked from the platform may not be fully screen-reader compatible. We are working to update these.

If you encounter a specific accessibility barrier on Moverly that prevents you from completing your booking, please contact us immediately and we will assist you directly — including processing your booking through an alternative channel if needed.

Getting help with your booking

If you are unable to complete a booking on the Moverly website due to an accessibility need, we can assist you directly. Contact our support team at support@moverly.ae and we will:

  • Help you complete your booking via email.
  • Answer any questions about the platform in a format that works for you.
  • Flag any specific accessibility requirements to your assigned mover team ahead of move day — for example, if you require the mover team to communicate in a particular way, or if there are mobility considerations at either address.

Please include your preferred contact method and any specific accessibility requirements when you get in touch.

Accessibility on move day

Accessibility does not end at the booking screen. If you or a member of your household has a disability or mobility need that may affect move day — such as a requirement for the mover team to allow extra time, communicate in a specific way, or handle certain areas with additional care — please mention this in the notes field during booking or contact us in advance.

We will pass relevant information to your assigned mover team to ensure the move is carried out with appropriate care and consideration. All mover companies on the Moverly platform are expected to accommodate reasonable accessibility requirements as part of their professional service standards.

Feedback and reporting

We welcome feedback on the accessibility of Moverly. If you find a barrier we have missed, a feature that does not work with your assistive technology, or content that is unclear — please tell us. Your feedback directly helps us improve.

To report an accessibility issue or request support, email support@moverly.ae with a description of the issue and the page or feature where you encountered it. We aim to respond within 2 working days.

Review schedule

This Accessibility Statement will be reviewed and updated at least once per year, and whenever significant changes are made to the Moverly platform. The date of the most recent review is shown at the top of this page.

As Moverly grows and the platform evolves, we are committed to improving accessibility — not just maintaining it.
